The 1st XI has won the Diamond Jubilee Twenty20 Cup!

Eversholt (137-3) beat Geat Brickhill 1st XI (135-5) to win their semi-final and progress to the final agaisnt Leighton Buzzard 1st XI. Good bowling from Simon Avis (2-13), Lewis Perrin (2-25) and Ben Nichols (1-11) restricting the hosts. Ben Nichols then top scored with 45 to see his team home, with good contributions from James Lord (38 not out) and Jack Fuller (28 not out). To see the scorecard in full, please click here.

In the final, Eversholt chased down Leighton Buzzard's target of 158-8 in 19.1 overs to lift the cup! An excellent spell of bowling from Jack Fuller (3-16) and James Gage (2-22) ensured a chaseable target of 158-8 was set. Eversholt lost Ben Nichols to the first ball of the innings but recovered well to reach 160-5. Contributions from Lewis Perrin (72), James Lord (27) and Jack Fuller (39) ensured victory.
