A message of thanks - President's Day, 2012

It was great to see so many Club Members and Associates gathered together yesterday for our President's Day.
The day proved to be a tremendous and fitting conclusion to a long season and was, of course, made all the more special by the presence and overwhelming contribution of Alastair Cook, the current England Test Captain.
I'd like to thank Colin Garratt (Club President) for hosting our day and Alan and Sarah Garratt for organising it. Also, their team of helpers, the players and officials for providing an entertaining match and all of our guests for adding to the overall atmosphere.
I hope that you all Winter well and I look forward to seeing you all again for Season 2013 if not before.
