Sunday 2nd XI Vs Elstow

We meet Elstow once again after losing to them at home only a few weeks ago, after setting a target of over 200. Eversholt winning the toss elected to bat to hoping to post a good target to put Elstow under pressure. The pitch made it hard to score with some good bowling also restricted Eversholt to a slow start with opener Alan Garratt first to go for 15 from 40 balls, Roger Lewis at the other end held the innings together ending up with 42 from 77 balls. Adam Sibley 31 from 33 balls helped eversholt to 177 from their 40 overs. Jack Flynn 3-40 pick of the bowlers for Elstow.

With rain clouds over head we took to the field, Ryan Bray taking the early wicket bringing Jack Whisker to the crease where he road his luck getting dropped on just one, he held there innings together getting an unbeaten 94 supported by Raja Shahid 39 got Elstow over the line with 2.2 overs left to bat. Dropped catches costing Eversholt in the end. Adam Henchy returned the best figures for Eversholt, taking 3/35.
